Here is your challenge for week 5 beginning on 4/23/2012


I hope you all are well hydrated from last weeks challenge!! This week we are challenging you to get some mileage in!! The goal is to complete 10 miles this week. Miles can be done walking, running, rowing, swimming, biking, ect. or any combination!! So lets get moving!!!

    This I got I average 4 miles a day usually over 2 miles in workout

    Wonder how you calculate an hour of spin class to mileage?

    Any ideas?

    Does the bike give you mileage?? If not, does it give you an average speed....if it does we could calculate it??

    yes I do a lot of spin too!!! but the bike dont said nothing!! but It's for 45 min

    Do the miles on the Wii count? I just took my Wii back from my son and will begin exercising with it again.

    ahhh question. can we count all the moving we do in zumba for milage because its wednesy and idk if ill be able to get 10 miles in by saturday .....help pls

    according to this source Moderate Intensity Physical Activity: 15 minutes nonstop = 1 mile---- zumba was specifically given as as an example.. so 1 hour of zumba moderate activity = 4 miles
    maybe this will help some peiople out there
