This is week six of fueling my body properly and I am in utter amazement. Suddenly I have had more energy than I have had in years! I'm blasting my way though workouts & feeling energized afterwards. I'm sleeping better. My attitude is WAY better! LOL The past couple weeks were challenging...the scale was not my friend (even though the measuring tape was), I felt flubby, was constantly hungry (despite eating my TDEE cut everyday) and had to force myself through exercise. But I think my body finally gets it...and what a turn around - the energy boost is amazing!

So, to all you ladies (and gents) who have just started out - STAY WITH IT - give your body what it needs, then work it until you get the results you were looking for. You can do it!

YAY! So happy for you!! It is so amazing to watch our "new" body take form as we treat it with the care that it deserves. I know those first weeks are hard on us, but we have to remember how hard the days, months, YEARS, were on our bodies before that point. I had to continually remind myself that the small amount of "discomfort" that I had to go through as my body readjusted, was NOTHING compared to what I'd done to my body all those years, and the compromising position that I put it in, making it have to CHOOSE between which bodily function was "worth" expending the small amount of "fuel" that I was providing:embarassed: .

    I will NEVER look back!

Stay strong, and enjoy your journey :drinker:

Ditto! I just upped calories again today and the encouragement is very timely! I'm still waiting for that personal confirmation through inches or scale!

jmmsccslp & jyska - Hang in there!! You just have to stick to the plan and give your body time. IT WILL WORK!

witrixie - The increase in energy is my favorite part!!! I've literally been dragging my saggy butt around on an empty gas tank...and I wondered why I was always so tired! LOL

Ditto this. I have yet to see anything and just feel like I'm heading the wrong way. May 8th will be 4 weeks of netting BMR to 200-300 above BMR alot. I do NROL4W and cardio on off day to help w/ my mood. I still dont have a lot of energy though. I can take naps everyday. I am nearing 39 though. So am I still not eating enough? I will open my diary for public.
