Week 1 Day 1 of C25K down, should I accelerate the program?

I have to say after nearly 5 or 7 years of no attempt at running save for softball and basketball I was quite surprised at how easy that was. I know don't take for granted the purpose of the whole program but I am wondering if I should accelerate it a bit? Maybe I am not as slow and old as I thought? I followed the podcast exactly and logged it on endmondo and I felt fine afterwards. To tell you truth I didnt even sweat that much. it turns out I was at about 12:30 mile and covered a little over 2.5 miles after all was said and done. That's a pretty fast pace for just starting out I think. This is why I am wondering if I should skip ahead a bit. Try doing week 2 on Wednesday instead? Any thoughts on this? Has anyone out there had this problem? I am not even sore the next day.

If its super easy for you, I think you should skip to the first day of the next week and see how that goes. You seem to be starting at a higher fitness level that the average couch potato, lol. Yay you!0
