Introducing....

Hi! I just joined this site yesterday and am hoping this group can help me with my goals. Long term, I want to be in good enough shape to backpack the Grand Canyon with my family. I did this when I was (much) younger and want to share the experience with my boys. How is everyone else doing today?

    I just joined this group yesterday as well. I've lost 30 lbs since last year doing Weight Watchers. I got tired of the same old same old (and got tired of paying to hear the same things over & over) so I decided to try MFP. It's great! Down 3 lbs. during week 1. Obviously week 2 won't be as dramatic in the weight loss department, but I'm going to keep on keeping on.

    Getting advice and support from other 40 somethings will be great!
