Maintenance and increasing calorie intake

I've been reading a few articles here and elsewhere about increasing calories to lose weight (there's a group on MFP devoted to the subject: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/3834-eat-more-to-weigh-less)
As I'm close to target weight now, just a couple of pounds left, I'm looking to up my calorie intake to maintain, but curious to know if this will INCREASE my weight loss. Has anyone else on or near maintenance experienced this or have any input?

If you've been starving yourself you will gain weight temporarily. Google glycogen levels, TDEE, BMR, RMR etc.
