I'm a big fan of coffee and water, then I usually make a small plate of either fruit mix or veggie/hummus mix and snack on that while I am working. I do a little bit of dark chocolate as a pick me up in the afternoon, or one of those chobani bite greek yogurts (I like to freeze them until they get an ice cream sort of texture).

Lots of good advice. I'm going to try the lemon juice but as its summer I'll see if replacing the hot water with cold and maybe add ice-cubes tastes ok. For some reason I can't enjoy tea. My current snack is celery... I've got quite used to it now and it basically I can eat as much as I like but it doesn't have the sugar that carrots have (which was my previous snack).

I portion my snacks out by serving in baggies; it seems to help.

Also, perhaps try studying right after you eat.
