Literally I get so tired now at the end of the work day, I never used to get this tired and my sleep habits haven't changed. I'm falling asleep on the bus/subway home and getting droopy eyelids at the end of the day.

Could this be because my body is so busy digesting all the food I'm putting in it?

Anyone else experiencing this afternoon drowsiness?

This was me last week! I took a nap today too because I was sick yesterday but ran anyhow, so I wanted a little break.

I can say that I got sick last Thursday & Friday felt better until Tuesday and now I'm fine again. So far Sat, Sun, Mon were my best energy days! I have some good energy today too, but I knew I just needed to let my body have a break :)

Totally normal. I went up from 1200 a day to 1600, then 1800 ish then 2000 and then 2500. Right around the 2k-2.5k mark I got exhausted. I always describe it like washed up on a desert isle tired. I think my body finally was getting enough cals- in enough regularity- that it could FINALLY relax and let down the red alert status.

In about a week I was back to energy and feelin good.
  • I just recently upped my calories another 150 and just went through the "OMG... I need to do everything right now!!!" energy burst and ravenous appetite where I have no clue how I can survive on 2000-2100 calories a day. This morning I am dragging so hard I can't even concentrate. But thankfully the continuous hunger pains have subsided.

I figure it's still my body getting used to everything and hopefully it will all settle down in a week or so. Either way I plan on keeping up what I'm doing and pushing through it. I know a lot of this is more of a mental struggle than a physical one so it will just take some time to get used to the new changes.
