Hi Peepz,
NHS in UK recommends that we (humans ) should eat at least 5 portions of fruits or veggies a day.

I also believe that its not just a game of calorie counting but we should at the same time aim for high quality calories (that have the right mix of macro nutrients and micro-nutrients like vitamins and minerals).
Who's up for this challenge????
To stop the things from being too boring, lets add a twist.:smokin:
If the members cant make up 5 a day for 3 days in a row, they will have to share a secret :drinker:

Meanwhile I also need some suggestions..
I am atleast eating 3 servings of fruits daily..but my calorie goal per day is 1200 for 3 weeks only.
I work and bz at home too with 2 little kids.. so fruit or veggie diet just will not work, I also need some carbs to sustain daily chores. If I eat more than 3 servings of fresh fruits my calorie intake is going up as I am also having complex carbs in my diet. I am a vegetarian and 30 pounds overweight from my ideal weight. Trying to reduce from a long long time but seriously from 3 months but haven't seen much drop in pounds (just lost 5 pounds),Now I am very serious to achieve my goal weight, which motivated me to join MFP. Basically I am really tired of being fat and overweight..I need your suggestions, tips and encouragement. BTW I also exercise min 4 times in a week. Eating fruits... how much is too much is my question?
Regularly I eat
1 Apple
2 Oranges
Sometimes Bananas, Berries and other fruits0 -

my weekend wasn't hot!!
Today i have strawberries and black bean soup that i make myself -- not sure the veggie content but i put carrots and peppers and beans all up in that bad boy! prob at least 1 serving yes?0 -

idk but we should do either a daily post or weekly, like 04/30-05/06 or something like that.
