Great job pushing it today and congrats to those who increased your weight/resistance and perservered; if you completed the workout, you did 120 push ups! There's no turning back now :-). Also, special thanks to David for bringing extra dumbbells to ensure we all were able to workout at the proper level, and thanks to Tiffany for bringing a guest! Finally, good luck to Mignon who is headed to Costa Rica for a couple of weeks, and safe travels back to Angie, Tracy, Azzie, Sena and Elex.
In our training, you will always be pushed to get better endurance/stronger/leaner/faster/more limble/more agile, etc.; this is the basic tenet of Boot Camp. If our workouts get to the point where they are not bordering on being ridiculous for you, it's time to increase your resistance (weight) and/or intensity. You can judge if you are at the point of needing to increase by how you feel at the end of a workout. You should ALWAYS struggle to complete the workout, and due to the high reps we endure, you shouldn't be able to complete all of the sets without taking breaks (short ones).
This weekend, remember to track your food, don't drink/eat too much, drink your water (at least half of your body weight in water daily), and get in some activity. Get ready to join me in exercising our weekend demons at our Monday workout. For Monday, please bring your dumbbells (same weight you used today) and your motivation!
See you Monday and bring/tell a friend!
