Hey folks...I've done Week 8 Run 2 today, so I'm nearly at graduation!! YAY!!!

Near where I live, they have proper organised park runs on Saturday mornings. I'm defo signing up to one after I finish the programme and wondered if anyone on here as done any?

I've got 2 near me, Norwich or King's Lynn. I think going to one is going to be a great way to meet like minded people.

Anyone got a Park Run near them? I'd like to do as many as possible and if you fancy meeting up at one drop me a line as it would be great to meet you :)

Here is the link to the Norwich one: http://www.parkrun.org.uk/norwich/home

Hi - I had never heard of Park Runs before and just checked out the website! There is one near me in Edinburgh which I will definitely be checking out!

    Thanks for posting the link!

I have the Edinburgh Park Run in my favourites, have for while actually, but I keep looking at the slowest time and know I can't do near that time yet. So I'll get there one day, but not right now :)

I'm on W1D2 tomorrow, slowly but surely :)

When I graduate I'll let you know!

Cool. In the Norwich one, I'll certainly be one of the slowest, but I don't care, I just want to do it for my own sense of achievement!! Let me know how you get on with the C25K mate :)

I go to the Pennington Flash parkrun and tomorrow will be my 18th! It's great, people are really supportive and there's always someone you can run with/against. There's usually a chat over a brew afterwards and some carb-loading too

Thanks :) Just looking to do the run, have a laugh and maybe meet some new people :) The carb loading sounds good too :D I'll let you know when I'm registered as I graduate with C25K Monday although I'm not quite making the 5K just yet.

I'm on week 7 of c25k (running for 25 mins) I'm a slow runner (only covering just over 2 miles in that time) once i graduate I'm going to sign up for a park run in Belfast at the waterworks. Can't wait to do one.

Update: new parkrun PB today! I'm officially 4 minutes and 40 seconds faster than when I did my first one last October
