I am again "new" to this site. Glad so many people are out there hiking. Just got back from hiking at Soldiers Delight this morning. Has only one on here done any of the Appalachian Trail? My hubby and I are planning on hiking the Maryland protion during the end of June.

    Hi! Hubby and I are doing parts of the C&O Canal out near Antietam/Harper's Ferry area and plan to try doing part of the AT also this year.

    Hiking a section or two of the AT is on our vacation list. My husband and yougest son did a small section last year at summer camp. I've done a couple of day hikes that intersected the trail, if that counts for anything.
