Just wondering if anyone can read my posts. I made a post last week and NO ONE replied to it. Yet I come here and see so many other posts and all of them have replies.....Can anyone read this???

On another note. Been taking the cytomel for a few days now. My scale is finally moving! I havn't really noticed anything yet from taking it. I got very little sleep last night due to the little one up coughing most of the night....but I am not dragging butt tired this morning, which is unusual. Because I maybe got like 5 hours of sleep. When I normally need 8+ in order to feel like I can function lol.
Anyone else on cytomel? When did you notice it helping?

Sure your posts show up!! Your last one said "never mind", so we assumed you figured it out

I don't take cytomel -- just want to caution you that it isn't all about the medication -- it's also about the diet. Assume you are eating healthy and at a calorie deficit and your thyroid and adrenals and other levels are optimal, you should start seeing a difference.

I am on Cytomel, for me, the one thing I notice is that it gave me more energy. I got out of my funk and was able to start working out. As far as weight loss, It did not instantly help me lose weight. Agree with tecallahan, back to rules for losing weight: Workout and healthy diet. Before cytomel and I was just on T4 meds and I was still gaining weight, after I got on cytomel it gave me more energy and I was able to work out longer and more often, so I started to lose weight gradually, and with a mfp tracking my food, I am able to start losing weight gradually.....

Gook Luck with cytomel and I hope it starts giving you more energy!

well I am still going today :) So I guess it is definitely giving me more energy. I did my work out, and now i am cleaning house and doing laundry. I normally would have taken a nap by now.
Yes, I have been watching my diet/ calories for two months now and exercising 5-6 days a week. I was majorly frustrated because the scale was not moving.
I had been on JUST levothyroxine for 18 years. I am happy to mix it up and see some changes.
