I am so excited about starting the program tomorrow. I have done a lot of research and tons of people recommend this! I am very interested in how I will do because I am an ex-smoker as of 2 weeks ago. :) I hope my breathing doesn't cause me problems. I can't wait to see how much weight I will drop in 9 weeks.

I started running, many years ago & not with c25k, as a way to help me quit smoking. I was very out of shape and had never run before, so it was really slow going and difficult. But, each day I felt a little better and a little stronger.

My lungs didn't feel great at first, but it kept me motivated to avoid cigs when i was craving. I struggled with my breathing and side stitches at first, but I was really determined. After a few months, I was a runner instead of a smoker. Felt great.

    Good luck!

Best of luck with starting today!! :) You will do great, just stick with it. Some days feel easy, others are tough as hell! But power through. And congrats on quitting smoking. Exercise will do great things for your heart and lungs!!

As of this week, I'll be graduating from the program....so I can attest that it is an AMAZING program that really does work!

Eprissel, congrats on quitting!! Keep positive and don't look at it as you are "trying" look at it as "you are already and Ex-Smoker". It really helps!! Hang in there! :)
