Hi low carbers! My keto stick is usually the color for trace amounts. I can't remember, but as long as I am not showing negative, this means I am still in ketosis, correct? Do I need to strive to get it darker or is it okay to be the color for trace amounts?

I read that no, as long as you see traces that is good. Dehydration can cause it to be darker - not necessarily that you are doing better. Also, if you are using all the Ketones (after a workout) there may be little but a trace left. Hope this make sense.

Nope, darker is not better. Negative is bad, but any positive is good.

Thanks yall! I normally guzzle a ton of water, so I tried to test today when I wouldn't quite as hydrated, and sure enough, it was in the middle range.
