Fat grams per day

Hey all! I've been reading many things on these blogs but have yet found an answer to a question I am desperate to have answered. I am on week 3 and although I am not counting calories, I am trying to stay between 1400-1700. But how much fat should I be eating?? I am averaging around 100grams a day. Is this too much? too little? I have read the 'new atkins, new you' book front to back twice, and it doesn't say! It has protein figures, and of course carbs, but nada when it comes to fat. Anyone got the answers? Thanks!
