Please share any accomplishments you had this month regarding eliminating fast foods from your diet. Sharing help us to realize we are not alone. I have actually had some success in eliminating fast foods from my diet but I can always do better. So no matter where you are in your battle with fast foods please share your failures and accomplishments. Support is here if you need it.

Same here! Good luck everyone!!!
Off to a great start for May! I almost got fast food today but I didn't!!! For lunch, I was planning to go to Taco Bell to get the Doritos taco but we found out that the one by our workplace was temporarily closed due to construction. Instead, I ate my homemade sandwich.0 -
I'm in for this month too! It helps keep me from falling back on fast food when time is short.
I've already started out this month with a drive thru meal. I had to go to a CPR class after work yesterday and didn't get out until 8pm. I was starving, it was late and those darned Spicy Chicken Sandwiches were sounding soooo gooood!0 -

This whole fast food eating jazz is highly motivating to me, it keeps me on my toes because all day long when even a tiny thought of desire/desperation, I keep thinking, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO...I wanna be able to add another day to my count.
Hey whatever works right?
I see we've got our faithful group of 4 so far and I'm all about quality over quantity so if we're the only 4 then we'll Rock this Challenge Big Time!
Ah, wait I think I saw Daisy's name on the list as week!:bigsmile:0 -

I totally agree!! Thanks for hanging in here with me because it is surely helping me to make better choicing when it comes to eating out. I am determined this month to get my 25 days!!
Let's do this!0 -
Hey everyone! So I'm off to Hawaii today! Currently at the airport waiting to board! I'll be back in 2 weeks! Will miss you guys!0

Enjoy your honeymoon dear!!! We will be here when you get back!0 -
I did not have any fast food over the weekend. I fought the urge to order in Saturday night and yesterday I had some FF urges but fought it.
The bad thing is with yesterday I did binge, just not on fast food. So ready for a new day today.
How was your weekend?
Welcome to the newbies!0 -
Looks like you all are having some good days this month! This challenge has been so encouraging for me, thanks Mollie for starting it and for all of you playing along. Everyone is such inspiration:drinker:0

How did everyone do this weekend? I grabbed some Taco Bell Friday after work on my way to a class cause I knew it was going to be my only chance for supper. I didn't even get home until 10:30 Friday night. I hate days like that!0

My weekend was good but I fell off yesterday and today did Popeyes special. Oh well tomorrow no more....:noway:0

Hey everyone! I'm finally back from Hawaii! We got home yesterday afternoon and boy were we tired from the flight! Hawaii was so much fun! If you guys haven't been there, I totally recommend it! I loved their seafood dishes and I ate plenty of desserts as well! I was logging my food for the first couple of days and then I stopped logging. =( I had some good days and bad days in terms of eating healthy. We did plenty of outdoor activities such as kayaking, surfing, hiking, snorkeling, and skydiving! (I'm still in shocked that we did that). Plenty of exercise during the trip but we also had our lazy days where we would just lay on the beach all day. We also went to Pearl Harbor and a luau!
We ordered pizza last night because we just got back and did not feel like cooking. Today is a new day and I'm gonna get back into it!
Happy Friday everyone!!!0 -

I'm glad you had fun! I hope one day to make it there, I've heard it is absolutely wonderful.
I realized today I haven't checked in since Monday. Still no fast food since last Friday, but I was basically bad Friday, Sunday and Monday. I've been pretty good since, I'm trying to make up for it!0 -

So glad you had such a good time! Great adventures:drinker: You were missed0 -
Thanks everyone! You guys make me feel so special! I really missed you guys too!
I didn't do so well over the weekend. Went to a friend's graduation and had buffet. Bad idea. Yesterday I did good and I'm planning on no FF tonight for dinner!
Hope everyone has a good week! Yay for Memorial Day weekend!!! 3 day weekend!!!0 -
Happy Friday!!
How is everyone doing? I am doing good and feeling good. This challenge is really helping me stay focused on no FF. Since I used all my free days, in order to hit my 25 days I have to go the rest of May with no fast foods. Yesterday I went to Costco and passed up the hot dog because I want my 25 days and I am steadily losing weight too staying away from the FF.
I like to keep my free days so I do not binge or feel deprived if occasionaly I want something in the FF catagory.
Have a wonderful and safe weekend!:flowerforyou: & thanks for supporting the thread too. Are we going to do this again in June? Holler if interested in June.0 -
Didn't do so well today. Had buffet today and ate way too much. =( I'm trying to get back on track. Tomorrow is a new day!
I'm down to do this again for June! This month hasn't been all that great for me so I'm hoping to do better next month!
I'm excited for Memorial Day weekend! I got Monday off!!! YEA!!! Have a great weekend everyone!!!!0 -
I'm down for June! I don't know how I'll record it though. I'm leaving for Bonnaroo on the 6th and won't return home until the 11th. I should probably count every day as having FF because I'll be eating food from the vendors every day. (I can't wait to have samosas and a foot long corndog!!!) I think my personal goal for the month will be no more than 4 days with FF outside of the time I'm gone. Geez, that still makes 10 days! Oh well, it's worth it!0

When I was in Hawaii, I just counted every day as FF b/c I did not log. hehe, have fun in Bonnaroo!!! We'll miss you and we'll be here when you get back! OMG, I love samosas and corn dogs!!! You're making me drool! I want some right now! LOL0 -

I truly love this group and the challenge and in reality we've doubled in size from last month, right? I think that's right as there were 3-4 of us in the end in April. SO our lil group is growing and even if the size stayed the same, I think all of you are awesome and doing the challenge with you is so very helpful!
Bowing down to our leader & head motivator: Mollie
Now to do a challenge on counting days to not each junk, like sweets! I do good for so long and then BAM one bite leads to a blood sugar crash and then I crave it the next day too. I'm much better on jumping back to my plan more quickly nowadays. But for now I really actually need to stay away from it until I can truly eat one bite, or one portion and it not trigger me. It's just not worth giving up my progress for eating something that isn't nearly as good as I thought it once was.

Well I am not a sweet eater but you can always throw that in for you to watch the Junk food to. I know some use to do that before the group was formed. That is why I feel the 25 days is a good amount because none of us are going to be perfect at this. Consistency not perfection is the key to success!!
I agree I love this group too!! Thanks for supporting it because it is helping me for sure be more mindful of FF and junk food. FF is my demon and even if I overeat good stuff it is better than FF binges. I will get up our thread for June some time today!!0 -

Well today is end of month at work and they have many free goodies for month end. It is almost noon and I have not been that way. No backery good for me today. I brought some substitute stuff for me and that is what I plan on having! I am on a roll this week and I plan to stay on my roll!
I need to go to Costcos today but I am going to wait until tomorrow so I can have my hot dog!:bigsmile:0 -

Well I had some of the bake goods but I did not binge on them at all. I had one slice of cake in the evening and one slice of sweet roll a little after noon. This was indeed an accomplishment for me.
Have a good weekend ladies!0 -
I love this group as well! I'm so glad I joined this challenge back in April and I love how the numbers keep growing each month! Thanks to everyone who participated in this challenge and I hope to see you all for June's FF challenge!
I have a big sweet tooth! Pretty everyone on my family has a sweet tooth! We always have to have some kind of dessert after dinner. I'm trying to switch over to eating fruit for desserts and so far, it has been working!0 -
I passed up 2 pizza puffs, french fries, and a large soda for $4.99. I used to love Pizza Puffs. I thought about it and I went to Subway and had my healthy 6 inch sub with Lays light chips and large soda for the same price!
Tomorrow I may indulge in some fried fast foods at graduation party I am going to but I am on a roll so who knows!!
Have a good weekend and start the month off right! or not! The June challenge is up!!:flowerforyou:0
