I passed up 2 pizza puffs, french fries, and a large soda for $4.99. I used to love Pizza Puffs. I thought about it and I went to Subway and had my healthy 6 inch sub with Lays light chips and large soda for the same price!

Tomorrow I may indulge in some fried fast foods at graduation party I am going to but I am on a roll so who knows!!

Have a good weekend and start the month off right! or not! The June challenge is up!!:flowerforyou:

That is just awesome Mollie! Good job for making healthy choices! That takes a lot of will power! I'm so proud of you! I just saw the June Challenge thread! Already updated!

I love this group as well! I'm so glad I joined this challenge back in April and I love how the numbers keep growing each month! Thanks to everyone who participated in this challenge and I hope to see you all for June's FF challenge!

I have a big sweet tooth! Pretty everyone on my family has a sweet tooth! We always have to have some kind of dessert after dinner. I'm trying to switch over to eating fruit for desserts and so far, it has been working! =)
www.ChocolateCoveredKatie.com has some great ideas for healthy yummy foods. They are simple ingredients and you know you're eating healthy but allowing the sweets in but in a healthy controlled manner.

I agree Mollie, you did fantastic! For me controlled eating vs a binge is a major difference. Having come so far I now try and think how much I DO NOT want to slide back. Nothing feels quite as bad as having to lose the same lbs. more than once. UGH

    Meea,
another suggestion is Vitalicious products if you have not tried them. My favorites are the triple chocolate and peanut butter vitatops which can only be ordered on line. I also like their brownies and deep chocolate sold in some of the finer grocery stores. Costcos have them sometimes too.

The fiber one bars and brownies are good too!

I use all of these as subs for desserts. I even got my sister hooked on the fiber one brownies. She is not crazy about the vitatops and she does not like their brownies at all.

    @Hearts,
I hear you about re-losing the same pounds and I will ask myself that question next time too. A good tip and reminder!

I never heard of Vitalicious but I'm down to try some. I'm planning to stop by Costco sometime next week so I'll keep an eye out for that! I've seen those fiber one brownies but haven't bought them yet. I think I might have to that as well! Thanks Mollie for your suggestions! =)

    Meea,

Costcos always carry the Fiber one bars and brownies. I would try in smaller packages to make sure you like them before you buy the bulk pack at Costcos.

I did terriable this weekend! :brokenheart: The good thing is I did not really do any fast foods but I did binge just not on fast foods. With that said since yesterdway was the worse binge day out of the 2 days I am not counting it as a no fast food day because I had too much junk. Hope that made since. I am back on track today and will not be eating any fast food today.

    Hello all,

Well you all know how I fight going to Costco's and not getting their hot dog, well last night I did it and I actually did it Sunday too. Sunday I got a large diet coke and yesterday I had a cup of their yougart and ate half in afternoon and the rest before going to bed and it was good too. That was my 1st time trying it. Next time I will try the swirl one and eat the same.

    Happy Tuesday!

I grabbed Wendy's last night and am going to consider today and the next four days as having fast food. I know I won't Monday because the food vendors will be closed and I'll have my annual after-Roo meal at Cracker Barrel. See you all next week and stay out of the drive thru!

How did everyone fare in the last week? I absolutely had to have a Doritos Locos Taco to hold me over until I could have supper late this evening. Oh, and I ate and drank like a total slob while I was at Bonnaroo and IT. WAS. WONDERFUL!!!!

You were missed Krunchy, so glad you had a good time!

Regarding how things went for this week, for myself tracking on this challenge is amazingly powerful in how it makes me realize if I eat FF I don't get to add another day to my count. But hey whatever it takes right, so I've made a game of it and now prefer my numbers over FF.

Awesome challenge, I'll be back each month from here on.

How has it helped the rest of you tracking your FF or lack of FF days?

It works the same for me Hearts!! I got the idea from the days worked out challenge and that challenge has really helped me to remain consistent with my exercises so why try it with FF and I am using it on another thread also. So far they all help me remain mindful of the numbers and viewing like a game and since i like to be a winner it makes me successful at challenging myself. Just like today I wanted an order of fries from McDonald's but I decided to pass since I really want to get my 25 days this month. Plus it is helping me lose weight too. I lost 3 pounds today!! I still have to lose 3 more pounds to move my tickers. I will be running the challenge as long as I have support.

FF is my enemy and caused me to get up to 600+ pounds and even after weight loss surgery it cause me to gain back 80 of almost 300 pounds lost:grumble: It is funny how we need these games to help us but that is OK with me. Whatever it takes!

Went to Costco's today and no hot dog for me!!! YAY!!! I did not get anything today. I wanted a pop but I restrained myself and had a kashi bar in the car on the way home after an awesome workout!

I had a ice cream cone from McDonalds! Good thing I am not counting ice cream because I have been having a ice cream cone every other day with the heat. I have kept them within my points.

@ Hearts: This month has been the best month for me with no FF! I kinda feel off the no FF track last Thursday when I went out with my coworkers to celebrate one of my coworker's birthday. I ate FF that day and on Friday too! I felt so bad and I kept thinking about this thread that I decided to get back on track and I did for Saturday and Sunday! Today, I'm ending the day with no FF!

@ Mollie: Great job on not getting the hot dog at Costco! You have such good will power! Keep it up! I just realized I haven't bought anything from the Food Court at Costco lately! If I did, I would have probably gotten the hot dog or pizza!

@ Kat: Welcome back! We're still here and we all miss you!

Hope everyone is doing well with the challenge! Feel free to comment about your progress! We would love to hear them!!! =)

Hey everyone! How's everyone weekend going so far? For me, I did great in terms of no FF on Saturday. My husband and I cooked at home for both lunch and dinner. Today, I have a family get together and it's usually buffet style where you just grab a plate and get as much food as you want. My goal is to get only one plate for myself. Usually I get two or three plates worth of food but I'm gonna try to stick to one! If I exercise today though, then I'll go for two plates. =)

Great job everyone on the FF challenge so far! You guys rock!!!

Good job Meea!! Let us know how it went with buffet. I hate them personally but when I do go I try to stick to one plate for sure.

I had Micky D's yesterday after the gym! and Dunkin Donuts yesterday! Today back on it.

    Have a good week everyone!!

    Happy Monday everyone!

So I ended up getting one dinner plate and one fruit salad plate! But I kinda got a lot on my one dinner plate since I knew I only wanted one plate. LOL, but hey, at least I stuck to one plate!

After the party, I went to pick up my husband from work (sucks that he had to work) and he wanted to get Mexican food so he got a carne asada burrito and carne asada fries. I couldn't resist and ate some of his food and it was so good! So yesterday ended up being a FF day for me.

Today is a new day and it's back to NO FF! How was everyone's weekend???

Good job on the one plate Meea!! I do the same thing. Believe it or not it is still less food that way :) What is carne asada??
  • meeaham
    meeaham Posts: 882 Member
@ Mollie: Carne asada is thinly sliced grilled beef steak. =)

Thanks Meea on definition of Carne asada. they have steak and fries together....wow!!

    Happy hump day all!! :flowerforyou:

Well I am going to get my 25 this month! YAY!! and I lost a few pounds too! Yay!!

Yesterday I went to Micky D's and I did not get the special on the spicy popcorn chicken they have because I had just had some Saturday and they were so not worth the points (calories).
