Protein on rest days

I left my book at home today and am trying to plan out my day tomorrow (working hard aren't I!!) What does it say about protein on your off day other than making sure to get the recommended amount. Are you supposed to eat a protein bar or have a shake and is it at a certain time. Can not for the life of me remember. Oh, and today is my first day. Thanks!!!

    No matter what day it is (workout or non workout) your macros should be 40 (carb)/30(fat)/30(protien). On the days you workout your calories will be about 200 less than the days that you do.

    Your Welcome. So you can eat your protein whenever you like as long as you hit your goal.

    I think one of the Rules is the post-workout shake. So eat your 40 percent protein whenever on your rest day.
