hello!

My quit date is set for this sunday and I'm very worried. I've done this so many times and I want this to be the last. Any suggestions to help get me through the first couple of weeks without eating everything in site would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry I just now saw your post.

    Good for you! How is it going so far?I would suggest having a plan for when the cravings strike. Something you can do for 5-10 minutes and also a few snacks that are low cal. I have taken quick walks, put on my MP3 and listen to some music, read. Sometimes I felt like relaxing and other times I felt like I needed to do something so I found something to do. Just remember when you get a craving, it'll only last a few minutes. And the longer you go without smoking the easier it gets!

    Stock up on gum...and the patch worked for me.
