Ankle pain when I STOP running

Hey Guys,
I am on week 1 and I do not know if this is normal but I have ankle pain when I STOP running and when I am doing the walking intervals. When I run the pain subsides.
Any thoughts on this? Should I push myself and just try and run longer distances (even at a slower speed). When I walk I am at 3.3 - 3.5 when I run I am at 4.6 - 4.8.

Where on your ankle? Inside, outside, top, high, low?0

Great question and one that I don't know the answer too. I just noticed the pain. I will pay closer attention on tonight or tomorrows run and get back to you0

It could be how you push off your foot when running as opposed to how you push off when walking. It could be the slowing process that makes your ankle hurt. I can't say for sure (too much of a newbie myself), but these make sense to me!0
