Hey Guys,

I am on week 1 and I do not know if this is normal but I have ankle pain when I STOP running and when I am doing the walking intervals. When I run the pain subsides.

Any thoughts on this? Should I push myself and just try and run longer distances (even at a slower speed). When I walk I am at 3.3 - 3.5 when I run I am at 4.6 - 4.8.

Where on your ankle? Inside, outside, top, high, low?

Great question and one that I don't know the answer too. I just noticed the pain. I will pay closer attention on tonight or tomorrows run and get back to you :)

It could be how you push off your foot when running as opposed to how you push off when walking. It could be the slowing process that makes your ankle hurt. I can't say for sure (too much of a newbie myself), but these make sense to me! :)
