I used to run 4-6 miles of hills 3 days a week and I loved it. that's when I weighed 235. I was injured and told I would never walk again and I used that as an excuse to give up. when I hit 400lbs I gave up on giving up and now I'm down to 329 and still losing. I did a 5k last year without training and it was rough. I know there's a runner inside me still and this program is helping him break out.
I'm on week 3 and like the stubborn man that I am I doubled the runs on the first few weeks because I'm frustrated with my self and like to torture myself
I'm running slow and after a fathers day 5k I'm going to start over and work on speed.
