I am just over 50 and just in the past year am getting frustrated and starting to have lots of aches and pains. I Refuse to become old in mind and spirit and body! I am very busy and constantly making time for me last on the list. I have a 32yo, 30 yo out ot the house and I have a 13 yo grl, 11 yr old boy that keep me running. It's work or dance or homework or housework or errands, etc. Always something that takes time from me. Its always a toss up as to what to do with what time i do have cuz there is so much to do something won't get done and I'm finding that its me time that suffers. Then I get mad and my attitude about myself gets in the way of dealing with my family. Support from others in the same boat is what i need.

Being a mom of eight, I can understand you not having a lot of time for exercise. If your gang are like mine were, then there are a lot of activities planned that take up your time. You have to make time for yourself because you really can't be of any help to the kids if you are neglecting your wellbeing. So, get a calender....write down the kids' activities and apointments and then schedule in time just for you. And, since it is in writing you will be more apt to follow through. Please remember that your needs are just as important as your family's. And that you can't be a good mother if you are not taking care of yourself.0
