no results, is this normal?

hey guys, well i completed phase 1 of JMBR but i can't see any difference anywhere I looked at other people's progress and they all loose a couple of pounds during the 1st 2 weeks. I actually enjoy healthy food so that's not a problem, I eat between 1300-1600 calories per day and kick my own butt during the workouts.
Do I just need to wait to see results? Or am I doing something wrong?
I don't want to drop my calorie intake down to 1200 calories because I know that my body doesn't like that at all (gained everything back when I started eating normal calories after the 30DS) and I havn't lost any weight in a long time (It's been aprox. 3 months that I am trying)

150 pounds (used to be 130 pounds)
30% body fat
pretty strong (according to my sister)

Are you taking measurements? I'm on week 2 of phase 2 and I have really only lost a total of 2lbs (I'm smaller though) but I've lost about 14inches around my body.
Also look at the food you are eating and make sure you cut out processed foods. Try drinking a lot more water and maybe watch your sodium.0 -
I haven't lost too much weight since starting ( I think like 3 pounds maybe?), but I have lost a lot of inches. I would check that. Also if you have an iphone or Ipad and you've been taking pictures of yourself throughout the journey, There's an app called body compare. It places the picture side by side. it really helps you see how much you've changed!
Here are my stats if it'll help:
Starting weight: 196
Current Weight: 193
Inches lost: 19 inches
Height: 5'4"0 -
In Phase 1, I only lost 3.5 lbs. BUT I did lose 11.75 inches! Started Phase 2 (last Monday) and I lost 2 lbs last week! I am doing JMBR video in the morning (before work) and then walking/treadmill when I get home.
My calorie goal is 1570 (according to this website), but I always seem to go over (1600-1700), but I burn around 600-700 calories exercising. I am following most of her meal plan (not dinners-- They are already healthy.) And I never feel hungry!

I am seeing results, even if the scale isn't really showing them (Non-scale Victories as they are being called by others!!) My pants and shirts are fitting better!.0
