Just wanted to say hi to everyone.

I have been on a plateau since Nov....yep nearly 6 months I have lost and found the same 2lbs argggggghhhh!!!

I have tried all sorts..eating 1500 a day regardless of exercise, 1200 a day, calorie cycling etc etc

The last time I tried eating back exrcise cals I didn't have a hrm just went with mfp and curves machines ,which I now realise were not even remotely accurate (curves said I burnt 500 cals in 30 mins...when I did buy a hrm I wore it and it was closer to 200 per 30 mins!!) Tthen I left curves for a more traditional gym.

So I have just had a months break from strenuous exercise and calories cycled to hopefully kickstart my weightloss again.

I am starting Turbofire today and going to the gym 3x a week mix of cardio and weights.I have calculated my bmr at goal is 1381 so eating back cals and aiming to net 1300 a day...seem I burn roughly 600 a day so eating 1900 a day approx.

Going try this but not expcting any loss for maybe a month whilst my body adjust...does this sound reasonable??

I am 41 and weigh 166 aiming for 133 at first.

Hi! Your numbers look right, but just remember to eat that number even on rest days. And speaking of that, take those rest days, you body needs them. Good luck!!!

Just a suggestion, since you are doing turbo fire, then when you go to the gym the 3 days, focus on strength training. Turbo fire is more than enough cardio. If you are looking for fat loss and a toned look, you must spend some time focusing on lifting and going heavier in your lifts.

thanks guys....will try to do more strength training but so not a fan...tried nrolfw and gave up..but was doing it at home and have no rack so limited the amount I could lift.

I have a session with the pt left at the gym so will get him to take me round the weights area...and prepare to be stared at by the 'boys' lol
