Hi,
I've been eating at maintenance (and perhaps beyond during my 2 weeks in Australia) since the beginning of April. Now I'm trying to determine what my activity level is, moderate or Light as I make my 15% cut.
I've just been cleared post surgery and have started lifting last week. My goal is to lift 3-4 days a week (I plan to start the New Rules soon) and walk 3-6 days a week 30-60 min a week.
My days vary, sometimes lots of moving about and other days not so much.
I had my RMR professionally tested last year as well as body fat and was at; 1514 RMR /19.7% Body Fat. (I'm sure my body fat has increased since I had surgery and was an immoblizer for so long)
Moderate Exercise: 1996
Light Exercise: 1770
Right now I'm in between at 1859........
I went from 137 to 142 from March until now. 135 was my goal, but at this point My goals are more focused on gaining strength and reducing body fat.
Thanks )) :flowerforyou:

I would chose the moderate level for right now and when you start excerising that many days a week then I would go up a level.
Good luck and Welcome!!

Hi there doesn't seem like you have much to go, I would say as long as you are cleared, go for the heavy lifting 3 days a week and cardio just twice a week. Def go w/ moderate and even think about just a 10% cut since your goal is more to lose fat while gaining lean mass. To gain lean mass you have to eat cals and get in a good amount of prot. I shoot for 1gr per lb of bodywgt.
