I upped my calories about two weeks ago. This Sunday I finally upped to 2100, maintenance is 2221. I wanted a little wiggle room just in case I didn't caluclate calories accurately or if a bite of ice cream accidently went into my mouth :0) At first I could barely get 1950 calories in the day (I had been at 1200 to 1400 if that since Jan 1st on WW). All day today I have been absolutely STARVING, nothing satisfied me. I was just wondering if this was part of the normal metabolism reset. I am going to eat maintenance for 1 month and re-evaluate to see when I should cut 15%. Tonight I could not put the peanut butter jar down and ate an additional 300 calories of straight peanut butter! Yikes Last week it was Nutella. I threw that in the trash I felt so sick afterwards! I cannot throw my peanut butter out I NEED it lol!

Happened to me too. First couple of weeks I was ravenous ...its gone down a bit, except for right after I work out. I can literally eat anything you put in front of me, weather it be food, cardboard, my dogs..ect...

I'm on week 2 and it changes day by day. For sure, the first 3 days, I felt I was starving and I kept wondering how I'd survived on 1600 calories for so many months!

A great sign the metabolism is revving up.

Try to be sure you are hitting your protein levels and breaking up meals to 6 sm ones per day.

It helps me to have a small meal an hr bef lift session then a protein shake right after then another small meal w/I the hour.

I have NO clue how I managed to eat so little and exercise so much in those 4 months!

I am hitting my protein levels almost daily, some days I may be a few shy. I bought some protein powder and that is helping.

I drink a serve and half literally the moment after my workout is over.
