My advice.....
Toss the scale, use measurements
Lift heavy weights
Enjoy being able to eat
Whats your TDEE, BME and TDEE cut?0 -
Yum... I ate 2200 calories today too! 2258 delicious and nutritious calories. And my body is happy. :happy:0

I frequently eat over 2200 - when I work out. I find I have more energy when I eat my workout calories.0

it feels so wrong! in a wonderful, naughty way. My bmr is 1500, TDEE is 1750, (I think.)
I burned 1023 calories, and just felt hungry, so I ate til MFP told me to stop. (0 Calories remaining.)
So, I can lose weight like this? :drinker:0 -
Did you end up netting your BMR? In otherwords, 1750-1023 is 727 net calories consumed... which means you should have eaten another 773 calories to net back to your BMR of 1500. Soooo, you should have eaten 2523 calories minimum!! And yes, you will lose weight doing that. However, most of us here have learned to cut back on our cardio burns, because it can be really hard to net your BMR when your burn is so high.0

Wow! This is amazing. I have another Q: I need to take a rest day- my shins hurt. I should net my BMR- not eat the preset 1200. I got that. Can I still lift weights- even on an rest day?0

-Eat calorie dense foods!
-don't go for 'light' option either!
I have done the same for last few days and now not sure how i ate under this. Lovely to eat more of yummy foods.
Watch your sodium levels and don't go over and get in your protein0 -

Did you use the Scooby calculator to determine your TDEE? It is in the TDEE sticky. If you have high burns like that a few times weekly I suggest making sure to select the correct activity level and then select the 15% cal def. When you have that number you eat that amount every single day. The cut val will have your exercise factored in so you shouldn't have to at back workout cals unless you have a crazy high burn then you make sure to net your BMR.
Also, a rest day should be taken to rest. I literally lift 3 days heavy and do one zumba class and try to do a 20min HIIT seesion some time during the week. If you have a good lift program, 2 cardios is more than enough per week.
