Strength Training for Runners

So are you guys doing strength training while training for your half? I've decided not to do heavy lifting. I know a lot of people do it, but since I'm not in the habit I think it would make me too sore to do well with my runs. When my half is over I might beef up the lifting. For now though I've been doing a Pilates video once or twice a week and I'm working on adding in this Iron Strength workout that I found. Here's a link to it.

If you scroll down on the page, someone has typed up the workout. It's HARD, so I'll be working my way up slowly so that I don't get too sore to run.

What is everyone else doing?
