Got motivation? As many have noticed it seems as though the weight loss numbers have leveled off a bit over the past few weeks. This weeks challenge will go in conjunction with the Half Way Boost from Pam to help each of us get over the plateau and back on track to hit the goals we set at the beginning of this challenge. We have had 2 solid weeks of focusing on our nutrition, it is time to get back to focusing on exercise as well. When each of us shared our strengths and weaknesses one weakness that I noticed was very common was that many people do a great job of staying focused all week long, but when the weekend comes exercise and nutrition take a back seat to everything else life brings. This weeks challenge is designed to make it so that we don't lose all of the progress we make during the week because we made poor choices over the weekend. For the sake of this challenge we will be considering the weekend to be Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
By nature I am a very competitive person so I have decided to make this challenge a competition between the three teams. The challenge will be to see which team can burn the most total calories as a team over the weekend! It truly doesn't matter what form of exercise you choose to use to burn those calories, your goal is to contribute to your teams success and prove that your team works harder than the other 2 teams! On Thursday evening I will post 3 new topics with your team names and Weekend Challenge. Please post your total calories burned while exercising for the day each day along with how you burned those calories under your respective teams topic on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Monday I will reveal the winner of this challenge!
Beach Bums and Wave Runners are you sick of seeing the Surfer Dudes win week after week? Do you say to yourself my team works harder than the Surfer Dudes, we just aren't getting the same results on the scale? Surfer Dudes, do you want to prove once and for all that you have won 4 weigh ins in a row because you work harder than every one else and you deserve to win those weigh ins? This is your chance to show which team is truly the hardest working team!!! Make the necessary plans, this weekend will not be wasted on bad choices, this weekend we will see who really wants to lose the weight!!! Let's make week 6 the best one yet!

Just a thought but maybe instead of how many calories burnt you could do something about how many hours the team worked out. My thinking is that if the teams are not even on weight, then the team with that weighs the most will end up winning, because they will burn more calories. Just so you know what I mean: if one team weighs in @ 1,000lbs and another team @ 1250 and the last team @ 1500 then the team that has 1500 pounds will most likely win.0

Let me just say that I am all for this, although Fridays are my rest day, but I might get a walk in.0

I understand your concern Wendy, however, in this challenge the teams are not divided by weight....so all 3 teams have the same range in weights.0
