Hi! I joined this group today and would like C25k friends, so add me if you like. I am soo happy to say that I have completed D1W1 of C25k. The reason I am sooo happy is that I have been working up to this moment for a year. Last year, I tore ligaments and tendons around my knee. My knee was so jacked up that if I stood still with all my weight on the bad leg it would turn into jelly which would make me collapse. After rehab I started walking last spring. I was determinated to start running again. The first time I tried C25k-I broke into a gentle jog and fell flat on my face. So my pride was crushed and I continued to walk for my exercise.
One year later, I am soo happy to say that I decided to try the C25k again. I finished the workout & added an extra 5 minutes of running. I ran at 5.1 pace which is probably slow compared to a lot of you. Just happy that I am able to do this.

That's awasome. I'm going to do D3W2 today. And I'm a big guy and my run pace 4.7 so no your pace doesn't seem slow to me. You can add me if you want.

Great job! I'm on week 5 and I only go 4.0 jog so you seem super speedy to me :drinker: !

I love this program, I didn't really believe when I started that I'd be able to jog at any speed for any amount of time more than a minute LOL! I figure I'll naturally get faster as my weight goes down.
