I'm beginning to think it's all about the numbers..lol so, could someone please help me out.
I had a metabolic test done.. and it indicated that my RMR(resting metabolic rate) was 1250
I work in an elementary school and do a fair amount of walking each day..would say light activity as it's def. not a desk job.
in addition, I work out 4 days a week..burning at least 400 calories per workout
so based on those numbers...what should I eat on days I don't workout.......likewise what should I eat on days I burn 400 or more calories??
I know there's a formula and according to what they gave me it is as follows
Stationary x 1.2
light x 1.4
moderate x 1.6
vigorous x 2.0

I'd say you're "moderately active" with all the walking you do on the job and working out 4 days a week.
You want to eat the same amount (your TDEE) every day, regardless of whether you work out or not, for consistency. No need to eat exercise calories back unless you net below your BMR.
Hope that helps!0
