Up Calorie Intake Once a Week

Tim Ferriss says that it's good for your metabolism to up your calorie intake once a week. I researched this and it definitely seems like if you are eating only 1200 calories a day, your body will get used to it and stop losing weight. Doesn't it make sense?? That's why the first week that we diet, we lose the most weight. And every week we lose less and less and eventually we hit a plateau. Does this make sense to anyone?

It's worked for me. I've been following his suggestions since December. I did hit a plateau in March/April and then went back to the book for what I was missing. The day off also it good so that you don't deprive yourself of what you want to eat.0
