He then told me that he was a virgin and had never even kissed at girl (at 20 years old!!). He dared to ask me to take his virginity.

Riiiiight. Because I'm totally dying to sleep with the guy who bawled like a baby in the street in front of his neighbors and tried to stop me from leaving....I nearly ran him over trying to get away.

    Talk about Forever Alone. lol

Wow! Thanks for the Monday Morning Laugh!!
(if this is all that's out there, we're all better off alone!)

why have pictures of you not wearing glasses when you actually do wear glasses? it's not an issue if you do, just don't like! same goes for being overweight, spotty, ginger, etceteraaa!

    Spotty??

    What's that mean?

I'm curious how far is too far to the group when it comes to hiding things like glasses...? I don't fault someone for not posting pics with glasses as many people wear contacts during the day and glasses at night. I look at it like makeup. I wear makeup all day long and wash it off at night. But there's no way I'm gonna put a pic of me without makeup on my dating site profile.

In my case, hair is the big deal. My profile has mostly pictures of me with my hair straightened out and long, the way I prefer to wear it during weekends or during winter when it's not so humid. I do have one "truth in advertising" photo of me with my hair styled curly, which is how I wear it during the week because of the humid summers here. Guy last week told me it makes me look like two totally different people. I get a TON of attention when I use the straight pic as my profile pic. Almost none when I (briefly) tried to use the curly pic.

What do you guys think? Are hair, glasses, stuff like that dealbreakers?

he said he took off his glasses so that people thought he looked better. ditto the beard and stuff. i wear glasses, and i'm a teenager thus i have spots but i didnt hide the fact. i just felt annoyed.

I prefer the term forever available. ( )

ha! yeah i like it, love your pic too!

also, yeah i think it was the pictures thing the most. why have pictures of you not wearing glasses when you actually do wear glasses? it's not an issue if you do, just don't like! same goes for being overweight, spotty, ginger, etceteraaa!
ps the ginger thing is a joke. don't wanna be hated!

Glasses are an odd one to be upset about because there are so many people that wear glasses depending on the current situation like driving or reading. There are also a lot of people like me that switch a lot between glasses and contacts.

i think i already said this, but i don't care about him wearing glasses. i wear glasses too. but, when i asked him if he did he said 'look at my picture' in which he wasn't, that's all. :)

Listen, just because one guy did not meet expectations and was clearly not being honest does not mean every guy is doing the same.
Just keep sorting it all out and be yourself.

i know this, but as i said i have like 0 friends atm and needed a place to vent, i know not all guys are *kitten*. i'm sorry if thats what you got from this! i'm sure 99% of you are awesome, i'm just waiting patiently but ranting along the way. :p

Still don't get what "spotty" means... other than "of poor character" my google search turned up empty. And you can't tell character from a picture like you can overweight or wearing glasses. Are there other meanings?

OOOO yeah! I get it. Not shallow! I really struggle with not appearing "spotty" so I would appreciate the same effort in someone else plagued by my condition. :-)

My first date with a guy from POF was like that - he had a skinny pic and a heavier pic (never said which one he was and didnt answer his body type) If he had just been honest it would have been cool with me, but he wasnt and tip toed around it when I asked.

When people are evasive and lie - NEXT! And if it werent for him I wouldnt have found my camping man

You're 19 barely out of highschool. You've got a lot more to worry about right now than boys
