I started my quest in 2010, lost from a high of 343 to 216 by 2012. Since then, I have regained 40 pounds. So, it's time for a new quest: I will lose to my ideal weight of 190 and run a Sprint Triathlon in June of 2015.
I have been using the 10K Runner app and am up to running 60 minutes (run 12, walk a few minutes, run 12 interval pattern). I could use a few MFP friends to encourage/be encouraged in meeting our goals.0 -
I'm kinda new to running. Just finishing up C25k (will do day 2 of the last week today). Will take a few weeks to work on distance and endurance. I can run 30 minutes… but nowhere near fast enough to actually finish a 5K in that time! So I'm going to spend some time working up to being able to actually go that distance. Then I will move into 10k training. Ultimate goal is to run a marathon… Someday!0
