Bulikng….when are you supposed to bulk? What type of weights must you lift to bulk?

I have gone down 24lbs and I am now 176lbs. I am soft at heck! I am incorporating resistance training in order to maintain the muscle I have. I am so confused on bulking….when, what, how???

At what stage is it best to try and build muscle in the process? I don’t want to lose weight and still be as squishy as I am now. My mind is boggled with all the information that is floating around out there.

Any insight?
