Weekly Menus!

New week, new menu!

I always find it helpful to plan my week out in advance. This helps me to plan my meals so I'm not grasping haphazardly. It also helps me plan my calories, shop smart, and know when I'll want to do a bit more exercise for that special dessert if you kwim. :) I thought it would be great it we could all share our weekly menus (if you're interested) so we could share ideas.

    For my menus, I plan breakfast and dinner, lunch is something I grab at work.

    Monday:
    Breakfast: Strawberry Protein Smoothie
    Dinner: Tuna melts on whole grain bread for the family, I'm going out with girlfriends-gotta be careful! Extra workout time!

    Tuesday:
    Breakfast: Strawberry Protein Smoothie
    Dinner: Rosemary and Garlic Crockpot Chicken
    Fresh Romaine Salad
    Steamed or Stir-fried broccoli
    Strawberry short-cake for the family (I'll skip the cake part myself, I prefer the berries alone)

    Wednesday:
    Breakfast: Chocolate Strawberry shake
    Dinner: Chicken "fried" Rice from leftover chicken and rice
    Fresh romaine salad
    1/2 baked sweet potato

    Thursday:
    Breakfast: Chocolate Strawberry shake
    Dinner: Leftovers
    Salad

    Friday:
    Breakfast: Blueberry protein smoothie
    Dinner:
    Out at the company picnic, extra workout time since food is unpredictable
