YES! I was going to ask the same question. I happened upon it by accident and watched parts 1 and 2. OMG!! It was amazing and informative and so well done (the part where the folks being interviewed against the white set all said in unison the names of the various diet plans? v powerful). I have the next two set to record.

I am newly diagnosed (3 weeks ago) and it made me decide to get a second opinion from another endocrinologist. Second perspective, really. The consequences can be so dire, I want as much information as possible. And since I knew nothing when I started, I am playing massive catch up.

I found it informative, powerful and helpful. I'm going to have my husband watch it this weekend (hoping the diet soda part sinks in, though he is thin already).

Thanks for posing the question. What did you think? In an email exchange last night, my RD said there is a lot of sensationalism surrounding it and we'd talk about it when I see her today. Very interested to hear what that is. Will report back.

Clearly I must have spoken too informally (I used "second opinion" as a colloquialism). I know my numbers, of course, and there is no question about diagnosis. I am not comfortable taking one doctor's opinion of how to address what is, to me, a disease with many moving parts and differing opinions on the best way to tackle those many parts/issues.
