Here I am about to finish up week two of phase 1 for the third time! I am a very active runner and continue to struggle with the last 10 lbs. I am very short so while that may not sound like a lot of wight it makes a big difference on my body. Like I said...my third time in the last year and a half on phase 1....I know this damn diet works.....just wish it wasn't so hard!
Made it thru the first week of headaches/fatigue. It's amazing what your body goes thru when it switches to another method of fuel. The thing I love the most is the consistent steady energy level I have all day long. No ups and downs! Besides the weight loss, that is the greatest benefit of this diet.
The hardest thing is cooking dinner for a family without having to revise it to much. Pretty sure the fam is tired of chicken (or a lean protein) and veggies for dinner!
I'm looking forward to check out some of the recipes on this forum!
Just wanted to add my plug for the IP diet. I've tried it all and this is what I know works for me! My daughter will be graduating in a couple of weeks so I'm planning on working hard to be at my goal by then! One of those events that you will have photos of forever....pretty motivating! I also plan on phasing off correctly this time as I know that has been my problem in the past!

Glad to see that's it working for you. I heard from many people that this is the best diet to shed those few stubborn pounds. As for headaches, they only lasted first couple of days for me until my body hit ketosis.
Are you sure you are getting enough water? Once you go into ketosis you shouldn't be feeling headaches since you will be burning fat for energy.0
