How my bunnies keep me from eating

I have 4 house rabbits and I'm an emotional eater. I have had gastric bypass so I HAVE to change or I will hurt myself. Now when I get that horrible urge to binge I tell myself "hug a bunny". If I am home I will go get Becky, my minilop who is up for a snuggle anytime. She listens as I pour out the feelings no matter how silly they are. She snuggles and gives me kisses. The unconditional love is so soothing that the urge passes. It's a bit more tricky if I'm at work, but now I have a 2 inch stuffed minilop that I can hold in my hand and visualise hugging Becky. It has really helped.

I love this idea!
Animals are very therapeutic. I love my two chihuahuas. I should just love on them every time that I want to emotionally eat.0
