Hello! My name is Brandi. Of course I also have hypothyroidism. I am currently on 125mcg levothyroxin but I'm sure that'll be increasing within the next few days since I just got my lab work done & my TSH is 7.89. I've been diagnosed for over 13 years but have been on & off medication due to "life happenings & no insurance quite often" I've also never really researched diet or other treatments because there is so much info that it becomes overwhelming!

Hi Brandi
I'm guessing you are in US if you need insurance to get a prescription? I'm in UK and cos I was born with mine not working and need it for life I get my thryoxine (T4) free. They don't like prescribing T3 or Armour over here on NHS, so often have to either go private which I can't afford or find a supplier yourself to ship it to you cheaper!0
