question about calories please

I officially started EM2LW last week. I was originally eating about 800-900 calories a day. I know bad bad bad. I have my calorie range set at 1600 and my BMR is like 1425. Since I started this I am eating more for sure but I still am having a hard time reaching the 1600 range and even the 1425. The only day I did was a major blow it day for me when we went out to eat. Is it okay when starting to gradually work your way up to your calorie goal? I'm eating all day and just not hungry.

I plan on working in a protein shake each day for about 10 days (that is all of the supply I bought) and that should pump up some calories then I would imagine.

    Try eating peanut butter (a tablespoon is 100 cals about), add an apple to that its about 180 cals.
    A handful of nuts (about 40g) can be about 230 cals! And those are all GOOD fats. :wink:
    Also doesn't make you feel overly full at all.
    Oh and the protein shake is great too.
