Martial arts on a rest day?

Basically I want to know how much this is going to interfere with muscle recovery? I work out on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The Thai boxing I'm considering continuing is on a Monday or a Wednesday.
The class is quite intense and obviously I'm going to have to cram an extra 1000 calories down me but will it really mess up my muscle recovery and building progress? Thanks.

Im really not sure to be honest re the recovery. All I know is anything martial is anything but rest... Used to do Jiu Jitsu and a little bit of mma based stuff. Its good fun, but not something I'd do as a rest day if resting is actually what your trying to do, which im guessing your not. Hows the intensity of your normal tues/thurs/sat workouts?0

Quite intense workouts and I'm usually aching the next day. I thought maybe do chest and triceps the day before Thai boxing.
I don't want to start losing muscle as I've worked hard to get to where I am.0
