Congratulations to everyone who lost this past week. I stayed the same this week. I think I need to lower my calorie intake. I'm staying within my range, but I'm not losing. Hopefully, this week will show a weight loss.0

Cinzil, I have weeks here and there where I don't lose. We are women, our bodies are weird, lol. I started this doing 1600 calories a day and got results.0 -

No loss for me this week. I've been weighing every day and was down on Wednesday. Next time I'm claiming the loss when I see it! :-)
I've been exercising a lot more & weight lifting. I know I'm losing inches so I'll be happy with that this week.
Congrats to all who lost this week. I'm clearly the turtle of the group. I'm thinking my next charm will have to be a turtle!

Lost .4lbs this week, not much but last week was more than usual so it evens out! Debbie, I love the turtle idea for a charm, I might have to steal that. We are both two lbs away from a new charm too! I seem to lose so slowly, and I blame it on my Thyroid!! I'm on medication because I had to have a Radioactive Iodine treatment to stop it from over producing almost 2 years ago. My doctor says it's good, but I think it slows my losses. For everyone else, great job this week, loss or not Healthier choices are benefiting all of us no matter what.0

Kristy, I'll bet your thryroid does affect your weight loss. I had my doctor check my thyroid and it checked out fine, on the low end of normal. I'm post menopausal too & I've read that the lower estrogen/ progesterone levels affect it also. Plus, years of crash dieting have slowed my metabolism to a snail's pace. That's why I'm trying the 5 meal a day plan, to see if it speeds it up at all. Clearly not much so far, but I've only been at that maybe 6 weeks. I'll get there slower, but I'll get there...just like a slow turtle. :-)
I found a cute turtle charm on sale at Kohl's yesterday but he kept flipping upside down. I'll have to keep looking for one that's flatter and has the pattern on both sides.0 -
Your thyroid is definitely making it more difficult for you. You can be much prouder of every bit you lose!

My official weigh in this week was a loss of 2.4 lbs!! Very excited about this and the fact I get one more charm today. My total loss is at 30.3lbs!!0

Hello!! I am down .08 pounds this week and I am ok with that. I need to blog about how to plan healthy eating and ezercise while on vacation. It is hard but it is doable! There were some unhealthy choices and high calorie choices I made though because I totally wanted to. Now that I am back, I am back on track and that is what really matteres.
Congrats Krystie and Holly on your losses this week.

Well after a crappy few weeks I have managed to gain 2kgs!! :noway: :grumble:
So seeing as how it is Monday morning, I aim being accountable & I have recorded the increase because fluid or not, this up & down is doing my head in (along with other crap, none of which I have any control over but thats a whole other story).
As of today I am pulling myself back into line & I am going to concentrate on what I can actually control.
No 1 - what goes in my mouth
No 2 - getting off my butt & moving (burn those calories women )
I am done feeling sorry for myself & it is well & truly time to do something about it! So onwards & downwards :bigsmile:0 -
I have been pretty scarce these past two weeks and thats due to a new job that doesn't allow me access to a computer during the day as well as the fact that I sprained my lower back somehow and have been recuperating by not working out for the past two weeks. As of today I gained two lbs in the past two weeks, which I knew was going to happen because I haven't been working out and watching as well as I should have. Might be water weight, might be the Ben & Jerry's I had on tuesday, I'm back though, feeling much better and I worked out yesterday too!! Just thought I would fill you all in! I will try to check in more often, but it is very difficult when I don't sit at a computer all day anymore!0

I am down .6 this week. Not much but I am still getting back into the workouts again after my back injury so I'll take it!! This weekend I am going on a bit of a vacation, so I really have to try hard. Swimming and hiking will offset off some of my treats!0

It's my Friday here in OZ **happy dance** I've lost 700grams this week, I'm happy with that, that dreaded number is slowly but surely getting smaller!
I took my measurements earlier in the week & I've lost a total of 67cm so far.
As of this mornimg I am 84.4kg (186lb) :bigsmile:
This Sunday I have a 10.5km fun run & Monday I start the Michelle Bridges 12 week body transformation program (Michelle is a trainer on the Aussie Biggest Loser show)
