Exercise for legs promotes youth!?

Hey all.
My husband was talking to an aviation physiologist, who said that strength exercise of the legs stimulates the production of the Human Growth Hormone, which keeps people looking younger and more fit! Yippee!
All I know is that since I started running my varicose vein issue that I have on my right outer thigh, which sort of looks like a quarter-size purple bruise, and has been there for about 10 years is suddenly looking a WHOLE lot better! Not gone, but a drastic improvement. I have hopes it will clear up entirely!
The best part of exercising is that I have more energy! Tonight my daughters got out Just Dance 3 for the Wii and coaxed mom and dad to do it...and we did! It was fun, even if I was terrible. I was huffing and puffing by the end, so it does qualify as exercise.
