stuck

i have lost 11 kg (24 lb) since January but now i am stuck my weight hasn't budged for a while, i usually have somewhere between 700 and 800 calories a day, as per Doctors instruction.
Been doing that since January 2nd, don't do a lot of exercise just a bit of cycling and walking. I have 2 jobs on my feet for 7 hours a day 3 days a week and then office work for 4 hours a day 2 days a week.
I want to speed up the weight loss, think I Might have to do just protein shakes for a while

    Hi there! First off, congrats on the weight loss! 24 pounds is a wonderful accomplishment and you look great.

    How long is "a while"?

    Are you staying hydrated? (I find the scale will not move for awhile if I am not drinking enough.)

    Keep with it and you will loose the weight. Sometimes I notice my body will hold on to weight for a bit and then I will drop a few pounds in a matter of a couple of days.

    Hi Thanks, I do have trouble drinking enough water , I must make more of an effort there.

    Congrats on losing 24 lbs! That is a great accomplishment.

    I totally understand your frustration. I'm stuck too!

    I agree, water is critical. I have learned to love water, and drink it all day long. It really does make a difference.

    My only cautionary advice, (please take with a grain of salt, since I'm not perfect either) be careful with extreme measures such as protein only. They may work for a while, but it's not sustainable for most people. If you really want to reduce calories even further than you already are, look for ways to shave off a few here & there, in ways that you can really LIVE with. Look at what you are eating and if you can find anything dense in calories, try to wean yourself off it. Once you adjust, you won't even miss it any more.

    hi thanks for your reply,
    I dont really eat anything high calorie I mostly eat vegys, eggs, fish ,chicken, and some times a little bit of rice
    apples, oranges, and grapefruit.

    I occasionally have a drink of either fruit juce or iced coffee thats high cal but i dont have it that often.
    mmmm so I guess thats what I have to give up then
