Calculating TDEE for breastfeeding mums

Hello!
Ok, so I've been spreading the word of eating like a normal human being and losing weight and I have been asked how to adjust TDEE for breastfeeding mothers...
I'm under the impression that there should be a calorie increase of around 300-500 calories, but I'm not quite sure about this.
Can anyone advise please?
Thanks!

The general rule of thumb is, you add 500 0-6 months and 300 from 7 months and older.
For example my TDEE is 2300, I then add on 300 more for baby. S
o I am actually eating 2600 a day. Mine is at maintenance, I would do the same if I was at a cut.0 -
Fab! Thanks so much.0

I also add on 300 to my cut because I'm nursing a 6 month old who's on solids.0
