Plateau - Maintenance Week

Well, I've decided that I'm definitely plateauing. This is my first maintenance week since losing weight. I admit that it feels a bit scary to eat more. I did dial down the activity level when figuring out a good calorie goal for maintenance. I'm still healing my pinky toe, so my activity is not what it normally is. So I was eating 2300 a day when I was moderately active and losing weight. I've set my goal to 2500 and I based that number on lightly active since I've not been able to do as much. So I guess I'll see how it goes!

Also, the fat2fit website has a good audio clip describing breaking a plateau and it talks about taking a week off (i.e. maintenance week) now and then. I thought it was a good description. It's listed under top audio clips.

I'll have to check that out. You and I are at similar points in our weight journey. I'm sending you a friend request -- maybe we can learn together through this.
