Family Picnics/Cook-outs

How are you dealing with the onslaught of Summer Picnics, Cook-outs and Family Reunions? Do you have a plan? Do you feel like they are a veritable mine-field of dietary mishaps?? :bigsmile:

My plan is to eat smaller portions but not make myself feel deprived so I am missing something. I am a firm believer you can't totally deprive yourself of something or that causes a binge - a small portion usually satisfies me & keeps me on track. If I would happen to overeat/drink I will get right back on track the next meal. I also make sure I carry my own water with me so I don't have to waste calories on high calorie drinks or alcohol.0
