I see Teresa hasn't been able to log in at all for 3 days, so I'm being bold and starting this week's check in thread. I'll start on doing week 7's exercises again.....I'm getting stronger and better at them, with this repeating!! and do this until I hear otherwise. Anyone feel free to step in and mix it up and I'll step right back. Teresa, I hope that computer starts behaving soon!

    Hi Ladies! I totally understand, Kackie! It's so much harder to eat properly when there are others around to feed and eat with. Eating is such a social event!

    We had a nice weekend. Today we went to the very tiny parade down town, then for a nice walk - nice until it suddenly started to pour on us! We didn't melt, though, and had a good laugh. No cookouts, since we don't have a grill yet. Maybe by the 4th of July we will!

    Thank you SOOO much QuietlyWinning for jumping in and taking charge.... I actually DID post a thread for WEEK #9 - not sure why no one saw it. I always put the link to the new thread at the end of the previous week's thread - so I just checked (to make sure I wasn't losing my mind) and I did post a week #9 link at the end of the week #8 thread.

    But anyways.... I'm glad that you all found THIS thread....hehe.

    Yes, my good friend Marj's husband **** (the name that I cannot type on this dumb website) passed this week .... so this week has been very rough. Please continue to keep Marj in your prayers.

    I konked out last night and didn't even close out my day first, after work. Having 8 seniors in a row to massage is fun....but physically, mentally and emotionally it is WORK! They are mostly very cute and sweet. Today I did paperwork, paperwork and more paperwork, but got a ton done. My poor little girl finally "reminded" me that WE are on summer vacation and need to be playing outside LOL. So I spent some time playing catch a couple of times, but did no exercise worth logging. Tomorrow I have to get back on it!

    Hello, All!

    Well, this has been a very strange week for me starting the end of the week before Memorial day...Can't seem to get myself back in the groove. I am getting exercise in all but one day, but my eating has gone down the tubes each evening. HAVE to get over it:huh:

    Will try to catch up with my challenge exercises, as many days as I can by tomorrow so I can fill out the chart. I have been doing some other weight training, so trying to fit in the ones from the challenge that "go together"...upper body together etc. It has made it harder to keep track of:tongue::tongue:

    I have been a super slacker with the challenge exercises.
    and too many days with cals over goals.

    but at least this morning my weight was back down after a little bump in the wrong direction!

    weight loss is always easier for me in the summer, without the stress and exhaustion of teaching. but that's always the problem. I lose in the summer and then I gain it all back in the school year. so my focus will be weight loss and fitness this summer like it always is and then in the fall I will have to figure something out to deal with stress and still get exercise so I don't gain it all over the winter!

    Looking for week 10 but don't see it yet???

    Saturday and Sunday I managed to put myself back together and have 2 good days in a row under calories finally. Hope to continue this week to focus....exercise hasn't been the issue...staying under calories has been.....SOOOOOOOO

    Under Calories: YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!

    Walking challenge: 3.5 miles (RAN 2 of them:-)

    I have JURY DUTY starting today...hope it doesn't go ALL week. Will wear my pedometer and pace around during any breaks that they give us...good books in my bag and will pack my own lunch.

    Sorry I've been MIA. May was a hectic month and June is starting out just the same. My M-I-L broke her hip, so my husband and I were away from home for another few days and I just wasn't prepared. So I needless to say I didn't get my exercises or eat very well.

    I'm hoping for a better week. Hope you all have a great new month.
