Sounds like everyone had a way more exciting weekend than me! Fuuun! Wish I coulda gone to Six Flags. I
roller coasters.
So I'm sitting here at home putting off writing a paper, and I'm finding anything and everything to do on the Internet to distract myself, and so of course I google SL's POF profile, and it's still there. He didn't say he was deleting it or anything, I just figured.. you know. Blah.

where are you finding all these army and navy guys?? i so want to meet a Marine!! :-)Ok so I learned a very valuable leason this weekend... When you do Burpies for the first time on thursday dancing til 5 am on Friday is not the best idea lol....
Well Navy wanted me to go to his house on friday night and spend the weekend cause he had his son and couldnt come out... I very politely explain that as attractive as he is I would not be comfortable spending the night with him til I got to know him better.... We're planning on going out sometime this week...
I ended up going out Friday night with FWB and some of my friends.. A guy friend of mine showed up to the bar drunk and tried to start stuff with FWB but nothing went down.. Saturdays BBQ got cancelled with Army boy cause everyone cancelled on him... Ended up at the bar with FWB again had a good time...
Went out last night and ran into a couple of friends ended up hanging out til 3 am.... I've noticed that beer seems to affect me more than liquor and I think its just cause I dont drink it as often...
TOnight Army is making me dinner before he leaves for 2 weeks... according to him I'm driving him crazy :blushing: and I'm supposed to hang with Navy sometime this week...
BTW FWB heard about my date with Navy the other night and to say the least he wasnt pleased lol.......But whatever because at this point hes just occuping space until I find someone else..... and these 2 both have potential :bigsmile:0 -
Weekend was great.
Friday we left around 6:30 and arrived around 10. We stayed up a little and chatted. Saturday morning, cousin and I ran some errands and then we met up with the guys to go grocery shopping. We came back home and started barbequing then hit the pool. I drank way too much but had fun. Smiley got along great and felt at home.
We drove back home after a late lunch on Sunday. I then met up with him later that night and watched the 1st NASCAR race ever in my life. Yikes!?!?!? I don't know about that one....
Monday we hung out for a bit then I came home to clean and do laundry while he went disc golfing with the boys. We met up later on and he made beer molested chicken in the smoker for me (it's SOOOO good!) and we watched a movie with his brother and the gf. We also broke my pinata (just him and I) because we were too blasted to do it on Saturday.
It was a fun weekend!!
So I had to see the ex on Saturday morning. My cousin took me and we had to keep going back and forth to bank and a store to try to cash this check. Well I've been procrastinating and never sent him the official copy of the divorce decree to him so I gave it to him then.
Well we're in the bank and he had been looking at his copy in his car right before. So we're there in line and he has his face on the counter in his arms and he looks up at me and he's CRYING. Crying in the bank in public with people all around. He tells me he's sorry for the past, for everything. :noway:
We leave and he can't even say goodbye, he just gives me a hand goodbye while I stand there thinking WTF.
It was awkward. I told him I had forgiven him. I tell him every single time he asks me to. I don't know what his deal is!! Anywho, I looked hot so maybe that's why he was crying...

Had dinner with Army last night he made whole wheat pasta lol it wasnt bad... However the wine was horrible (cause I hate wine) I made myself have a glass out of politeness that I nursed all night. I also let him know I dont like wine for future reference.... We sat and talked alot... He kept telling me how pretty I was lol.... However he didnt try anything and I went home at midnight with a hug ...... He has to leave for 2 weeks so we will see what happens when he gets back.... (he also said that I am such a flirt lol)
BTW FWB texted me while I was over at Armys and wanted to come over...... Told him I was out on a date and didn't hear back from him for the rest of the night lol0 -

My weekend was nice, but exhausting. I went up to Chicago to meet my girlfriend's family and long-term friends from Indiana.
The funniest part was when we went to one of her friends who were having a dinner party. She tells me they are vegetarians. I tell her then I should eat something before we arrive. She says they have bought meat to grill out. When we arrive, the guy asks me what I know about grilling. I say I'm pretty good. He asks me to help.
They've bought a great cut of steak (2 inches thick), chicken breasts, salmon and turkey burgers (all four have different grill times). They'd also bought and prepared some cedar planks that they wanted to use. I spent the first hour and a half grilling and poking my head into the party from time to time.
It was a great weekend. She says her friends and family all approve of me, which lifted a burden off her.
Now I'm on a work trip that will have me away from her for more than three weeks. :sad:0 -

Women's conference for the weekend. Ingested too much birthday cake. Much shopping. Met someone from Match (ick) and had to cancel with the guy I was supposed to meet at the park (online-intro guy) because I took too long coming back from the conference Monday. Haven't stepped on the scale yet, but everything is so tight. Not really responding on Match b/c w/the upcoming deployment and my impending permanent move I'm a bit conflicted about wasting everyone's time.0

no I tore my shoulder, accidentally OD'd on pain meds cause Ive never accidentally over-medicated myself before and apparently needed to learn that lesson the hard way, still pretty beaten up and sick and dealing with the consequences and the getting dumped was the icing on top of everything else that happened.
Now Im just pumping my body full of tons of perfect super foods, getting 8-10 hours of sleep a night, and hanging on while it does its magic amazing thing and heals itself from all the self inflicted muscular and chemical trauma.
And then I can go back to the gym!

no I tore my shoulder, accidentally OD'd on pain meds cause Ive never accidentally over-medicated myself before and apparently needed to learn that lesson the hard way, still pretty beaten up and sick and dealing with the consequences and the getting dumped was the icing on top of everything else that happened.

I tore my shoulder two years ago... get the right medical help, cause mine is back to 98% after rehabing it properly and my friends that just let it heal are at about 80%. Well they say bad things happen in 3... you took care of all 3 in one weekend.0
